Meeting Minutes

June 6, 2017

Our Toastmaster was Lynne with the theme Today.

Our President, Randy, opened our meeting.

Our Gate Team was:

Grammarian – Mercedes with the word “Boisterous”.

Ah Counter – Julie H

Timer – Steve

General Evaluator - Jean

Our Speakers were Jack with Zillow is a Wholesaler, Warren with My Learning from an “Unexampled”, and Janell (Best Speaker) with “I am a Citizen Soldier”.  We had a 3 way tie for Best Speaker.

Our Evaluators were Nancy, Barb and Jim (Best Evaluator).

Our Table Topics Master was Jung with odd objects that we needed to sell.

Our Table Topic Speakers were Julie H, Grace, Uliana and Emery (Best Table Topics).

Our Humorist was Robert.

Announcements:

1.    District contest is part of the district conference this Saturday, the 20^th.

2.    On Saturday night, we can go for free to the After Party.

3.    On Friday night we can have dinner with Dr. Randy Harvey, the keynote speaker.

4.    Nancy was presented with a certificate for completing her 10^th speech.

5.    Jack was given a certificate to commemorate his Ice Breaker.

6.    Hadaya was given his Nickle Award for doing his 5^th speech.

7.    Anju and Sailaja were presented with their Toastmasters Badges.

Members in Attendance were Julie H, Randy, Deepa, Jean, Janelle, Warren, Robert, Amritha, Lynne, Steve, Julie N, Jung, Jim, Anju, Uliana, Hadaya, Grace, Mercedes, Becky and Nancy.

Guests in Attendance, sadly, none, but our membership is now up to 31!
