We had an outstanding meeting yesterday with 3 guests; one a possible new member.

Alex gave his Icebreaker speech. Yea Alex! and Maria presented a speech from the "Successful Club Series."

Maria is on a journey to the attain her Distinguished Toastmaster DTM certification. Come watch her shine.  Bill

January 13, 2026

 

Announcements:

Theresa welcomed our guests: Ravi Mantrala, Jessica Peralta, and Iryna Dokuchaieva.  She also reminded our members and guests of the combined Area contest on March 21, 2026, at the Brightwater Center. Doors open at 10:00 am.

There will be both an International Speech contest and a Humorous speech contest.

 

 

Our Toastmaster was Nancy with the theme. “Make Your Dreams Come True.”

 

Our Sergeant at Arms Katie called our meeting to order.

Our VPE: Nancy went over roles for our next meeting. She also provided our Education Minute: Steve Edwards “Interview with a body language Expert” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKUrdELKjDw

 

Our President Theresa opened our meeting.

 

Our Gate Team was:

Word of the day was Vision.

General Evaluator – Theresa

 

Our 1st Speaker was Alex with “You Can do Anything” icebreaker.

Our 2nd Speaker was Maria with “All the Marbles” Successful club series.

 

Our Evaluator for Alex was Deanna.

Our Evaluator for Maria was the team.

Our Topic Master was Turtle.

Our Table Topics Speakers were Deanna and Ravi

 

Our Humorist We had no humorist.
