Big Welcome to Leya for being our newest member!

Our next meeting - November 1st In-Person meeting at:

Our Sergent at Arms and zoom host Barb, promptly opened the meeting on time with our mission statement, flag salute, and reminded members and guests that the speech and evaluation part of our meeting are recorded. 

 Our President Mara opened the meeting. Our VPE Nancy reviewed roles for the next meeting, provide us with the Learning Minute, and introduced the Toastmaster.

Our Toastmaster was Mara. Our theme was "Happy Halloween!". 

Our GATE Team was:

General Evaluator - Meera

 

Our 1st Speaker today was Leya. Her speech is entitled “Three Surprising Things People Don’t Know About Me”. She is working on her Humor Pathway, Level 1, ICE BREAKER (4-6 mins)

 

Our 2nd Speaker today was Warren. His speech is entitled “Seven Steps To Change People’s Thinking”. He is working on his Visionary Communication Pathway, Level 4, Project #1; Communicating Change (7-10 mins)

 

 Our Evaluators were Jim (evaluating Leya) and Kelly (evaluating Warren)

 

Our Table Topic Master was Nguyet

 

Our Table Topic Speakers were:

Kelly and Robert all shared stories relating to our theme of the day.

 

Members in Attendance were Warren, Lynn, Julie, Leya, Kelly, Dan, Barb, Meera, Jim, Nancy, Maria, Nguyet, Marcus, Robert, and Jean

 

Guest(s) in Attendance were Jane (Kelly’s friend), Ann Vuu (returning guest), and Alex (new guest - from Dan’s Toastmasters group in Canada)
