Meeting Minutes

Our meeting was held in person at:
Mountlake Terrace Library
23300 58th Avenue W
Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043
The space was bright and spacious. It was a little far out of our normal Bothell area but was a good fit for our meeting style
Our Sergent at Arms was Barb, who set up and promptly opened the meeting on time with our mission statement, flag salute.
We had two guests: past member Giri and Lynne’s friend from out of town, Nancy.
Members present: Warren, Jim, Lynne D, Mara, Jean Kelly Barb
Our President Mara opened the meeting and passed around the roles sheet.
Our Toastmaster was Mara. Our theme was "Let’s Go To The Library".
Our GATE Team was:

Word of the day - Bestow
Ah Counter - Barb
Timer - Lynne
General Evaluator - Jean
Our Speaker today was Jim. His speech is entitled “Midlife Reevaluation” (8-10 mins)
Our Evaluator was Warren (evaluating Jim)
Our Table Topic Master was Kelly
She brought a pretend microphone and provided images to choose from. Each speaker spoke as a newscaster and each “wacky” image.
