Meeting Minutes - August 2, 2022
IN-PERSON Meeting @ Thorndike Room - McMenamins Anderson School
Announcements: Our September In-Person meeting location is still TBD. Hopefully, we will be at Maria’s workplace in Bothell on the 1st Tuesday of each month starting October.
Our host Barb promptly opened the meeting on time with our mission statement, flag salute, and reminded members and guests that the speech and evaluation part of our meeting are recorded.
Our President Mara opened the meeting and provided the announcement. The roles for the next meeting sign-up sheet were passed around. Mara introduced the Toastmaster.
Our Toastmaster was Jean. Our theme was "Mastermind Group".
Our GATE Team was:
Grammarian - Mara
Word of the day - Socialize
Jim, Scott, and Mara used the Word of The Day
Ah Counter - Mara
Timer - Lynn
General Evaluator - Jim
Our 1st speaker today was Warren. His speech is entitled “As Good As I Once Was”. He is working on his Visionary Communication Path, Level 3 (8-10 mins)
Our 2nd speaker today was Amy. Her speech is entitled “The Sun Maiden and The Crescent Moom”. She is working on her Dynamic Leadership Path, Level 1 (5-7 mins)
Our Evaluators were Barb. (evaluating Warren) and Mara (evaluating Amy)
Our Table Topic Master was Maria who gracefully gave up her amazing topic questions for the sake of keeping our meeting on time.
