Officer Meeting Minutes
PUBLIC SPEAKING NORTHWEST
June 14, 2022
Meeting started approximately 1:10 p.m.
Officers in Attendance: Barb, Nancy, Lynne D., Mara
Minutes from the May meeting were approved.
OFFICER REPORTS
Report from VPE Nancy:
· We have 21 members now.
· We are President’s Distinguished
· We have met 9 goals, with 2 extra Level 1 awards, 2 extra Level 4, 5, or DTM awards, and 2 extra new members.
Report from VPPR and VPM Mara:
· PR activities continue on, and Mara will train next VPPR (Kelly) this week or next.
· Membership is increasing: Jeevana will sign up for membership after family emergency has been resolved. Atul will probably join, just taking his time. Tobias Burns and Julie Hutton have rejoined.
Report from SSA Lynne:
· Our new Zoom link is in place.
· Lynne will be training Barb on Thursday to be a Zoom host, includes a different password for PSN. Barb can have a co-host to assist her.
· Barb now has all the boxes that belong to PSN.
· Country Inn & Suites has raised the rates to $200 for a room.
Report from Secretary Barb:
· Apologies for not keeping up
· Nancy suggested not to change the Zoom password.
· Mara suggested that if Zoom requires a verification code, know that it is emailed to VPE.
Report from Treasurer Jinxin.
· Nancy complimented Jinxin’s report.
· No charges yet from Country Inn and Suites.
· Meera has $20 credit (overpaid when joined).
· Tobias Burns has $10 credit (overpaid when joined).
· Tried to register Julie, but TI website was down.
· Total $100 gain to the club in the last month.

· VPM: Lynne (with back up of Mara while Lynne is on her summer boating excursion)
· Secretary: Lynn C. (We’re also seeking others in the club for this position.)
