Meeting Minutes - January 12, 2021
Announcement: Kameh, submitted her application last week and is our newest member
Our Sergeant at Arms, Lynne, promptly opened the meeting on time with our mission statement and flag salute
Our President, Barb, welcomed our guests and introduced Toastmasters. The new guest today was Hannah.
Our Toastmaster was Barb with the theme “Height and Days (Rain)”
Our GATE Team was:

Word of the day - Persistent - Barb, Kate, Jean, Jim, Warren, Midori used the word today
Ah Counter - Midori
Timer - Glenn
General Evaluator - Kate
Our only Speaker today was Jean with her speech titled “The Card Table”. She’s working on her Presentation Mastery Path, Level 1, Ice Breaker
Our Evaluator was Giri (evaluating Jean)
Our Table Topic Master was Warren. He was great sticking to the theme and making it fun.
Our Table Topic Speakers were:
Jim, the question was where is the most rainiest place he’s been, why, and would he go back?
Mara, the question was where is the driest place she’s been, why, what did she do, and would she go back?
Kate, the question was where is the tallest place she’s been, what caused her to go there?
Kameh, the question was what is her favorite island and why?
Lynne, the question was what inspires her?
