Club Officer’s Meeting

Our president Randy
called the meeting to order.
1.
Discussed ways of
transition to new Pathways. Feb.27 10:45 mentors and officers meet to discuss
how to introduce new members to the Pathways. We’ll launch the new program on March
20. Nancy advertised Pathways on website and Meetups.
2.
Club competition – March
13. Will consist of 3 speeches will compete, 5-7 mins each. Also 3 evaluators
will compete by evaluating randomly picked 1 speech out of 3. Best speaker and
best evaluator will go regional.
3.
Award party Feb. 27.
4.
Feb.24, 9-10am in
Country Village there will be advanced speakers meeting introduction. Speeches
are 20-30 mins long, meetings are 1.5-2 hours long, twice a month.
5.
Jean gave a report
about club progress. We are only 9 goals away to become “distinguished” again.
6.
Discussed membership –
attracting new members by making guests feel welcome. So far we have a lot of
guests, and some of them do join. Looks like our advertisement is working,
which channel though is unknown yet.
7.
Hillary reconciled 2
databases of members. Dues are due soon.
8.
Decided to pay for
Robert’s badge as a thank you for his video service.
