Dec 15th 2015 Theme: Book Exchange/Holiday Party

Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are." ~~ Mason Cooley

Welcome to the third and last meeting in December blog posting.
(Our next meeting will take place on January 5, 2016.)

Jean was our toastmaster of the day. As this meeting was self-catered, she urged everyone to partake of the food in the back of the room and bring it to their tables.

The (ga)T(e) team was comprised only of: the Timer – Grace.

The meeting was entirely of Table Topics mastered by Julie. Each member of the audience was asked to bring a wrapped present for a gift exchange. Then 3 audience members at a time were each asked to choose a wrapped gift and forecast how cherished the gift would be to them.

  1. Robert, that's perfect blogging (Organizing the members, their pictures and their gifts in a tabular form makes it extremely clear for everyone). Thank you so much for doing it.

  2. I agree with Amritha, Robert. What a good way to share this special meeting!

Many members stayed more than one-half hour afterward to eat and enjoy each other's company. For me, that's the sign that our friendships are strong. We are always open to extend our caring to new members too.

  3. What a fun way to celebrate the was a very entertaining meeting. I agree with Jean, its wonderful how everyone wants to stay and visit after the meetings.
