July 8,2025 Officer's Meeting Minutes

 Officers Meeting PSNW     July 8, 2025

Nancy filled in for our new president, Theresa Haynes, who was traveling. The club is doing well, and we are meeting goals for our Distinguished Club criteria. The minutes from the June meeting were unanimously approved.  

II  VPPR Report: Kelly Fallucca 

PR is on cruise control. 

• Social Media 

• YouTube - 46 subscribers•365 videos 

• Facebook - 388 likes • 418 followers 

•       Bill had a question on how people signup to be subscribers on our You Tube Channel. Kelly explained that when you go to the Public Speaking Northwest channel and click on the button that says subscribe, you get notified when new things are posted.  

• Google My Business 

• Keep your fingers crossed. The last verification video I sent came back too short. This week I walked around the Brightwater Center and showed us in action in the video. The upload is complete, so we'll know in 5–10 days whether it's accepted. I have tried many times to get verified because the address is wrong and there are old photos on our profile. 

• Awards 

• Thank you, Nancy, for pulling all the educational certificates together. I will put a quick ‘end-of-year’ video up on YouTube soon. 

  

VPE/ Webmaster Report: Nancy Carpenter 

We reached all our educational/organizational goals and then some. Attached and appended is our DPR for last Toastmaster year. TI has created a new DPR but has not revealed it to us. Kelly was banking her pathways completions, so we have our first level 1, level 2, and level 3. Woohoo! 

 

TI emails me a report on Pathways/Basecamp completions for the month. I follow up with the folks who did not log their speech and send the How To document.  

Be sure to check the weekly Starburst Newsletter from District 2 regarding officer training. This is what they have so far.

Webmaster: FreeToastHost suspects that Nadine is a bot, even though I put her email address on the "whitelist". Occasionally, FTH thinks that our domain is expiring, but it is not.

2.    Follow up – We approved name badges for any officers who want one. I can order from TI website. IF you want a badge: Email me your name as you want it on the badge, distinctions (optional), position, and our club's name will go on the bottom line.  See below 

3.    Badges can be “pin on” or magnetic. 

4.    The PSNW bank account balance is $1190.93 of 7/7/25.
