Public Speaking Northwest Toastmasters Meeting Minutes                                                 July 21, 2026 Announcements: Bill Hinrichs, President shared an opportunity to save on Toastmasters dues by paying ahead of time Bill Hinrichs welcomed guests Eli Jones and Priyanka Badesara Bill Hinrichs, President led induction ceremony for Dhwani Maheshwari and her mentor Katie Minoz Nancy Carpenter, VP Education reminded everyone to complete their Pathways Projects in toastmasters.org Our Toastmaster: Maria Cubacha, VP Membershipwith the theme. "One Small Step” Jeff Makita, Sergeant at Arms led us through Club Mission statement and Flag Salute. Gate team: Our grammarian was Katie Munoz with the WORD of the Day “Verge” Ah Counter was Kelly Falluca, VPPR Our Timer was Maria Cubacha, VP Membership General Evaluator was Bill Hinrichs, President Our 1st Speaker was Maria Shneerson with a speech titled “Hiking to Machu Picchu Guided by Angel” PM1, Evaluation and Feedback (5 – 7 min) Our 2nd Speaker was Turtle Kasnick with a speech titled , “Hello? Can You Hear Me Now?” PI3, Understanding Conflict Management (5 – 7 min) Our Evaluator for Maria’s speech was Nancy Carpenter Our Evaluator for TK’s speech was Theresa Haynes Our Table Topics Master was Dhwani Maheshwari Our Table Topic Speakers were Kelly, Raxit and Theresa Members in Attendance were Bill, Deanna, Dhwani, Jeff, Jessica, Katie, Kelly, Maria C., Maria S, Nancy, Theresa, Turtle, Raxit Guests in Attendance: Eli Jones and Priyanka Badesara Motion to Adjourn: Katie, Second: Theresa
