Meeting Minutes
February 3, 2026
Announcements:
Bill/ Pres. Pro-tem for Theresa welcomed our guests: Mary Ann Olson, Jeff Makita and Jathin Chowdary. Bill also reminded our members and guests of the combined Area contest on March 21, 2026, at the Brightwater Center. Doors open at 10:00 am./ meeting starts 10:30
There will be both an International Speech contest and a Humorous speech contest.
Bill also facilitated a Mentor induction ceremony between Maria Shneerson, mentee
and Kelly Fallucca/ mentor.
Our Toastmaster was Bill with the theme. “12th Man ”
Our Sergeant at Arms Katie called our meeting to order.
Our VPE: Kelly for Nancy went over roles for our next meeting. She also provided our Education Minute. Kelly talked
also talked about our upcoming Area Contest on February 21, combining 3 areas and held at Brightwater Center.
She also pointed out all the levels of competition.
Our President Pro-tem opened our meeting.

Our 1st Speaker was Deanna with “Lessons Learned.” Dynamic Leadership track
Our 2nd Speaker was Warren with “Turning Budget Fights into Good Decisions.” Persuasive Influence Track
Our Evaluator for Deanna was Katie
Our Topic Master was Kelly,
Our Table Topics Speakers were: Maria and Ravi
Our Humorist We had no humorist.
