Officer's meeting, September 3, 2019

 Public Speaking Northwest, Club #9406    

Present: Robert, Giri, Jean, Lynne, Uliana.

We discussed different paper feedback format, comparing to other club's formats. We liked the more extensive format, like in the other club that Robert goes to. Robert will bring a copy from his other club.

We have $833.07 on our account. Giri agreed we are not struggling with money, so we can leave the thumb drives production as it is. Robert prefers to stay with thumb drives as it was, so it's up to a person whether or not to populate the video. Robert shared that it takes him about 30 min once a week to do the work. Jean thanked Robert for doing it and thanked Giri for thinking about it. 

Jean asked how we can populate our FB posts even more - to share posts on our personal pages, see how it goes.

Robert offered to create and post animated snippets of our videos of us speaking. We thought Mara could do it since pictures get more attention statistically than minutes.

Jean wrote our contest chair people. 

We wait for Karl's office’s “go ahead” to try different sets of tables. 

We discussed the way to make people speak up louder. Uliana offered to show a sign with a “speak up” suggestion. Everybody agreed. Uliana will make and copy the sign. We’ll distribute them around the room for use during the meeting. We’ll collect them at the end of the meeting.
