Meeting Minutes
October 6, 2026
Bill Hinrichs, President, opened the meeting and welcomed members and guests.
Announcements/ Education minute:
- Area 35 Director, Mary Redman, DTM, presented our club with the President’s Distinguished Club ribbon.
- Speech contest is on November 10th; more speakers are welcomed!
Deanna Schroeder, Treasurer, led us through the Club Mission statement and Flag Salute.
Our Toastmaster was Deanna Schroeder, with the theme “October Trivia”.
Gate team:
Our grammarian was Bill Hinrichs, President, with the WORD of the Day “cornucopia”
Our Ah Counter was Robert Katz
Our Timer was Maria Shneerson, Secretary
General Evaluator: Kerry Accola
Our first speaker was Alex Konicke, with the speech “Make the Call”. Trial run for the November Speech Contest.
Our Evaluator for Alex’s speech was Katie Munoz
Our second speaker was Dhwani Maheshwari with the speech Turning over a new leaf” from the Presentation Mastery Path.
Our Evaluator for Dhwani's speech was Theresa Haynes
Our Table Topics Master was Kelly Fallucca, DTM, VPPR,
