PSNW Officer’s Meeting Minutes

Action Items:
Approved August Officer Meeting Minutes
Kelly was given the go ahead to investigate purchasing a waterproof outdoor sign for our Brightwater location.
Katey was given the go ahead to purchase a clock for our Brightwater room. She will also check with Barb regarding the small table the club had previously purchased.
We will try Katie’s suggestion of a new way to collect comments at Brightwater meetings.
We will meet in a different room for our October 1st meeting. Lynne will talk with Kelly about directions to the Conservation Classroom.
Ongoing/Old Business
Next Election: Lynne asked officers to think about if they will continue in their position for the next election cycle starting in January. This gives us time to prepare if we need to fill a position.

It's great to be back at PSNW and serve as your president!! Thank you to all for your support and help while I was gone!!!
Our first meeting at Brightwater Center was a huge success!! It is a wonderful venue for our club. Celina, our contact at Brightwater, is very responsive and helpful; she was there on Tuesday to make sure we had everything we needed!

New Members:
Hyungjoon “Matthew” Yoo was a guest in June originally and completed his application and became a new member in August.
Theresa Haynes was a guest in August and is going through the process of becoming a member.
We have 28 members, including Hyungjoon, and not Theresa.
TI Inquiries: We had two TI inquiries in August
Bailey McClanahan inquired on 8/6 and was invited to next meeting. Ultimately, she didn’t realize it was mostly online and was looking for all in-person. Did not attend.
Monica Littlejohn inquired on 8/15 and was invited to next meeting. She had a busy schedule and did not attend any meetings. She also mentioned wanting to start her own chapter with the company she works for. She still may join a future meeting to see how it all works.
PSNW Inquiries: We had 2 inquiries through our club website in August.
Theresa Haynes inquired on 8/21 and attended our in-person meeting on 9/3. She is now going through the process to join our club!
Audrey Schwartz Inquired on 8/22 and attended the 8/27 meeting. She is a member in Redmond and thinks she will be a guest at our club from time to time.
Other Inquiries: None that I am aware of.
VP Public Relations: Kelly
Proposed New PSNW Waterproof sign for the Brightwater Center meeting location. We are using the small sign I made last year indoors, for it is not waterproof. In speaking with Katie, we would like to propose we get a second sign that is waterproof for outside near the parking lot. I did not have time to do the cost research. If we vote yes, I will be happy to submit some recommendations later.

The Brightwater Center party was a grand success! Thank you to everyone who participated. We missed those of you who could not attend.
My expenses are only $35.49. Deanna covered the ring light from the club account, and we had the decorations. My receipts are below for reimbursement.

1. Processing of membership renewal fees underway. Renewal fees for period 0/1/24-3/31/25 are due by Sept. 25. PayPal users are paying the $2 fee. $72 for check writers. $74 paying via PayPal
2. Kelly submitted expenses of $35.49 for Moving Party meeting 9-3-24. Club will reimburse.
3. Possible upcoming expense – outdoor sign(s) for in person meetings.
4. The PSNW bank account balance is $1632.04 of 9/10/24. Payments are being collected that have not yet been submitted to TI – thus the high balance.

Katie will make new name tags once all the membership renewals are complete.
