Our Toastmaster Lynne was with the theme Kindness. 


Our Sergeant at Arms Barb called our meeting to order.


Our President Mara opened our meeting and welcomed our guest, Lakita.

Our Sergent at Arms and zoom host Barb, promptly opened the meeting on time with our mission statement, flag salute, and reminded members and guests that the speech and evaluation part of our meeting are recorded. 

 

Our President Mara opened the meeting. Our VPE Nancy reviewed roles for the next meeting, provide us with the Learning Minute, and introduced the Toastmaster.

7 Tips for a Polished Public Appearance

  1. Preparation: Include Plan B

  2. You’re Onstage Even When You’re Not

  3. Punctuality is King: Arrive early & stick to your time

  4. Greetings and Introductions: Discuss ahead of time

  5. Your Appearance: Match the occasion and your style

  6. Authentic Body Language: Occupy lots of space

  7. End with a Bang! Make it powerful.

 

Our Toastmaster was Maria. Our theme was "Holiday Foods".

IN-PERSON Meeting @ Thorndike Room - McMenamins Anderson School

 

Announcements: We officially welcomed Marcus to our club with our Protege/Mentor/Club Members’ Pledge and Jim being his mentor. YAY!!!

Our next In-Person location is still TBD. It will, however, not be at McMenamins. We will keep everyone posted.

 

Our host Barb promptly opened the meeting on time with our mission statement, flag salute, and reminded members and guests that the speech and evaluation part of our meeting are recorded. 

 

Our President Pro Tem Lynn opened the meeting and provided the announcement. The roles for the next meeting sign-up sheet were passed around. Lynn introduced the Toastmaster.

 

Our Toastmaster was Julie.  Our theme was "Success Through Toastmasters".

Our speaker today was MarcusHis speech is entitled “Huh, I Could Probably Do That”. He is working on his Innovation Planning Path, Level 1 (5-7 mins)

 

Our Evaluator was Barb. (evaluating Marcus).

Jean, La Keyta, Lynn, Warren, George, and Jim all shared stories relating to our theme of the day.
