Officers minutes, March 5, 2019

Officer’s meeting, March 5, 2019
Present: Julia, Jean, Jim, Nancy, Uliana, Mara, Giri

  • Jean had an update about DCP. We are a Select Distinguished, but we used to be President’s Distinguished. Jean went over the points. Officers offered to finish their levels for the reward points. Members need to let Jean know what they finished, because it doesn’t appear in TM automatically.
  • PayPal is much easier for Hillary to process payments.
  • March 20th in Kenmore library 6-9 pm is the next level competition.
  • Nancy explained using ToastToast agenda function. She asked if we want to use it, or go the old way. We discussed, and decided to stay the old way, because we are not very high tech community, and the old way works just fine.
  • We discussed how we want to make Anastasia feel more included, but we don’t want to pressure her. We could ask her for comments, and she even participated in white elephant.
  • Jim presented a list of prices for new & better prizes. We re-evaluated the reason we give out prizes - for attendance. So we decided to give out 1 prize per week by drawing.
  • Jean suggested to take a new picture for the FB & website. Agreed. We’ll plan a new picture when we have a party. On April 1st we decided to have a backwards meeting.
