Techniques to Remember Your Speech

Do not memorize your speech.
Strategize how to handle a memory lapse as part of your preparation. Craft two or three phrases you can use.

Officer Meeting Minutes 02/13/2024

Officers Meeting Reports:

 February 13, 2024

• Webmaster:
• We are no longer getting kickbacks of Maria's emails from our distribution list.
• Members are no longer receiving repeated unsolicited No Longer a Member confirmation. Free Toast Host responded with a weird answer, but since it seems to have healed itself. I am good.
• Kelly does an awesome job on our home page!
• Vice President of Education (VPE):
• 8 Toastmasters pins are being shipped to me from TI. I will mail one to Georgina and one to Sophia.  I emailed the receipt to Deanna for reimbursement.  They cost about $6 each and a million dollars for shipping.
• I am pondering the gift to be sent to our contest winner. I will order something from Amazon and have it sent to him or her.
• Our DPR was shared. We are at the Select Distinguished level, with 7 points.
• We had 6  officers trained this COT season.
• A report of our contest winner to D2 is due by the 19th of Feb.
• I am thrilled that we have 4 competitors for our competition. I am beyond thrilled that we get to do it our way.
• Treasurer:
• TI Dues statements for April-Sept 2024 will be emailed to PSNW members in late February 2024; with the option to pay via PayPal or by check.
• Member Nancy Carpenter was reimbursed for 6 TI pins – to be presented to members when they finish their Ice Breaker speech. Check #107 - $65.73.
• Concur is now account set up. This account is required to receive D2 award dollars. A personal account for an authenticator app is required in order to meet the two-step login requirement. Unfortunately, the way this account needed to be set up is to use the club Treasurer’s personal login and authenticator app so this will need to be changed each time there is a new Treasurer.
• The PSNW bank account balance is $1292.19 as of 2/13/24.
• Vice President of Public Relations (VPPR):
• Facebook – 376 Subscribers. Woo Hoo
• YouTube – 29 Subscribers, 179 Videos, Most Watched Video – Mara’s ‘Welcome Video 2023 – 100 Views.
• PR. People who have requested privacy: Deanna, Kerry, and I may post Marcus’ image and videos if I use his first name only.
